There are no visible remains of the series of workers rows that is depicted on the 1st edition of the OS 6-inch map (Lanarkshire, 1864, sheet xiii) at Bowhousebog. Three rows on the northern side of the road had been removed by the end of the 19th century (2nd edition, 1899, sheet xiii.NW). Those to the S of the road are shown as roofed on the 1921 revision (sheet xiii), but have since also been removed. The site of the rows on the N side of the road is occupied by more recent housing.
