Visible on AP's 543/RAF/436, 1-12-58, F22, 0053-4.

This non-defensive earthwork is situated on level ground and in a dense plantation. It consists of double banks (0.5m average height) of earth with some stone, and medial ditch (1.2m deep); the entrance is probably in the SW side.

Surveyed at 1:2500.

Scheduled as 'Branthat Plantation, settlement 320m SE of [The] Gill... situated at 30m above sea level on low-lying land adjacent to [the] Pow Water and the Solway Firth.'
