NX 7129 4845 - On the summit of Galtway Hill is a turf-covered cairn (RCAHMS 1914, visited 1911) 18.5m in diameter and 1.6m high. Quarrying at the base gives a superficial appearance of a platform.
Surveyed at 1/2500.
