NY 296 970. On the E side of the Glendinning Burn at Jamestown are the apparent remains of an oval enclosure.

Visible on Economic Forestry Group, Moffat, APs (162/71/008)

NY 2974 9709. At the end of a spur is a settlement later adapted as a sheepfold by the addition of a stone wall. It is oval on plan and measures 74.0m NW-SE by 49.0m within an earth-and-stone bank around the E and W sides and a strong scarp on the N. there is no certain entrance, though it probably lay on the E, and the interior is featureless. Surveyed at 1:2500.
