NX89NE 11 874 981.

(NX 874 981) A crop mark, visible on A Ps, is perhaps part of a Roman camp, but the evidence is not conclusive.

The site lies on a SW slope and is partly under the plough and partly covered by pasture. There are no surface indications to assist in identification.

Visited by OS (BS) 11 April 1975

What are probably field boundaries have been recorded as cropmarks on oblique aerial photography (CUCAP 1933, 1956).
