NX17SE 4 1679 7016.

Situated on slight knoll is a small turf-covered cairn 7.5m in diameter and 1.0m high. The centre has been dug into but there is no sign of a cist.

Surveyed at 1:10,000.

Visited by OS 10 May 1976.

This mound of stones is situated on the E shoulder of the Eyes of Craigbirnoch; it measures about 6.5m in diameter by 0.7m in height. Apart from a small pit dug into its centre, the mound is very well-preserved, unlike most of the large and small cairns in the immediate vicinity (NX17SE, 20 and 21) and it may be no more than the remains of a marker cairn of relatively recent date.

RCAHMS 1987, visited (SH) 6 April 1986.
