OS 6" map (1957)

A much dilapidated, circular cairn about 44' in diameter and 3' high occupies the southern summit of Cairnsmore of Fleet, 2132' OD. It is surmounted by a modern beacon.

RCAHMS 1914, visited 1911

NX 5094 6539. A partially grass-covered round cairn 13.7m in diameter and 1.0m high. There is a modern marker cairn built upon it.

Surveyed at 1:10 000.

Visited by OS (BS) 1 June 1977.
