NT86NW 2 8305 6880.
Approximately NT 830 687. Eleven small hut circles and one stock enclosure, measuring some 65ft by 57ft, with a hut circle on its enclosing mound, lie on either side of the Old Cambus and Coldingham road, some 200 yds E of its junction with the Dowlaw road, on a portion of the moor called the 'Haud Yauds'.
RCAHMS 1915, visited 1909.
There is a small settlement in the area at NT 830 688 (now under cultivation) consisting of the enclosure described by the RCAHMS and four hut sites. The enclosure, now much reduced, appears as a mere scarp in the S and W, and as a bank some 0.5m high in the N and E, with a hut site on its NE side. Only three of the eleven huts noted by the RCAHMS can now be identified, consisting of vague, low, turf-covered banks measuring abouv 8.5m in diameter.
Visited by OS(RD) 11 March 1966.

OS 1:10,000 map, (1976).
Listed by the Society of Antiquaries surveyors as an enclosure, measuring 16.8m by 15.2m within a boulder-faced bank (1.3m in thickness) with an external ditch; attached to the NE side there is a small enclosure measuring about 4m by 5m internally. Close by there are at least three circular enclosures measuring up to 7m in diameter within low banks, but none of the others recorded by the RCAHMS can be located.
RCAHMS 1980, visited 1979.
