NT95NW 17 9218 5681.

(NT 9218 5681 - located from site plan) A cist was found in February 1885 a short distance E of what is now Grunewald, N of the public road and between it and the hedge adjoining it. It measured 2ft 4ins by 1ft 6ins by 1ft, and was formed of slabs of greenstone with a bottom slab and a cover. It lay NW-SE and contained only the bones of a young person.

No further information was obtained during field investigation, or by the Society of Antiquaries Field surveyors.
