OS 6" map, (1962).

This linear earthwork stretches across the head of the valley of the Raeshaw Burn, about 500 yds SSE of NT71SE 38 and just below the crest of Raeshaw Fell. (See plan accompanying NT71SE 10.) Originating 10 yds below the lip of a deep gully descending to Scraesburgh Hope, it runs NE for about 216 yds on an irregular alinement, crossing the saddle that leads to Standard Knowe and also the course of the old road which passes it by at least four tracks.
