A hammer-stone, of quartzite or other hard stone, from Brotherstone, was in the National Museum of Antiquities of Scotland (NMAS) in 1894. It was lent by T Scott ARSA, Bowden, in whose collection it is recorded in 1895. (Brotherstone: NT 615 354)
