(NT 5966 3975) Standing Stone (NR)

This standing stone, which measures 5ft high by 2ft 6ins wide and 3ft 6ins long, is situated on a knowe about 20 yds SE of the Earlston - West Morriston road. It stands at the W end of two small houses which take their name from it (Name Book 1857). (Standingstone - now demolished.)

RCAHMS 1915, visited 1914

This unsculptured stone stands on a slight ridge. Its dimensions and location agree with the RCAHMS description.
