Currie Mill: A dwelling house, formerly a corn mill (Name Book 1853) traditionally erected by a neighbouring proprietor to annoy the original owner of Borthwick Castle (15th C) by its noise (NSA 1845).

No trace of the mill or its leat could be found in 1954, and no further information was obtained locally at the time.
