On an old estate map covering the Greenmount (NT 2380 8656) area, there is marked on the S side of Craigkennochie 'an artificial cairn probably a place of sepulture' (A Young 1924).
RCAHMS 1933; A Young 1924.
No traces of this cairn was seen: the area is now built over.
Visited by OS (A C) 13 March 1959.
