Compston NS 957 759 NS97NE

A small laird’s house of mid-18th century date, now derelict. Fragments of 16th century mouldings incorporated into adjacent farm buildings indicate the former existence of an earlier building on the site; there are fragmentary remains of a dovecote some 50m NW of the house.
