NS 939 301. There are three or more possible house platforms of an unenclosed settlement.

Centred NS 939 301. Seven ill-defined platforms extend in line along the 360m contour on the SW flank of Dungavel Hill. Six measure
approximately 18.0m along the slope by 6.0m to 10.0m transversely while the other measures 11.0m along the slope by 6.0m. They are not regular in shape and their back scarps are not as steep as those on other unenclosed platform settlements in Lanarkshire; whether this is their original form or a result of slumping is not clear. Most of them have a distinct break in their SE side with what appear to be old drainage channels running through them. There are no lynchets or any traces of a field system in the immediate vicinity.
There are about six contour-following springs about 30.0m further up the slope and two more a little way below the platforms. Where these have cut back into the slope and, at the same time, deposited material on their downhill side, they have formed level stances almost identical to, but smaller than, the platforms described above.
The poor condition of these platforms and their similarity to the nearby springs casts some doubt on their classification as occupation sites.
