NS 844 805. Ring-ditch, Wester Carmuirs; visible on RCAHMS air photographs, taken in 1977 and 1978.
NS 8448 8056. APs show the cropmark of a ring ditch enclosure measuring c20m E-W by c17m N-S with an entrance break in the east side. There are no distinct interior marks.

The shape and dimensions suggest this may be a hut site or homestead enclosure. There is no surface trace of this enclosure. The siting falls at c.35 OD on a high and level part of a pastured field above a marshy area to the west.
