A large stone, popularly called the "Witches' Stone" stood upright near Craigie church (NS 427 323), in a field on Lodgehouse farm (Lodgebush: NS 425 320). It was probably a rocking stone. It stood on three stones, so high that a man could crawl under. It was blasted in 1819 to build houses.
