A battle-axe (Wilsford Group) from Princes Dock (centred NS 5650 6500) is in Glasgow Art Galleries and Museum.

Field investigation produced no further information.

Visited by OS (W M J) 27 August 1967.

This battle-axe is of Intermediate-Developed form and is held in the Glasgow Art Gallery and Museum under accession number GAGM A.5928. It has been petrologically attributed to group XXVIII (quartz dolerite from various sources in Scotland and Northern England), or, possibly, group XVIII (quartz dolerite from the Whin Sill of Northern England).
