Two 'enclosures' are located at NR 8957 3110 and NR 8965 3113.
Arran Forest Survey, NMRS MS/861/13, 1975
(B) A circular stone-built enclosure by boundary fence, 12.0m overall diameter and 75 cms high. (C) A circular enclosure or possible hut circle, partly stone built. It measures 12.0m overall diameter and 0.7m high. The centre is depressed and a stone scatter visible. Nearby are small mounds.
Information from DoE Arran Field Survey, 1976
(A) NR 8951 3101 (B) NR 8952 3105 (C) NR 8961 3108.
Three hut circles in close proximity on rough pastured moorland at 250ft OD. 'A' and 'B' are set on a slight E-facing slope and 'C' on a natural shelf of the same slope.
'A' comprises a peat and stone bank up to 3.0m wide and 0.8m high, enclosing a level featureless interior 7.0m in overall diameter. There is a 1.0m wide entrance on the S side.
'B' comprises a peat and stone bank up 4.5m wide and 0.8m high enclosing a level featureless interior 7.5m in overall diameter. There is a 2.0m wide entrance in the SE side.
'C' comprises a peat and stone bank up to 2.5m wide and 0.8m high enclosing a slightly dished interior overall 9.5m N-S by 8.5m E-W. The stone scatter has no significance and appears caused by the denuded and spread bank on the S side. A possibly contemporary field bank of peat and large stones running SW to E, curves around the NW side at an approximate distance of 5.0m. Several small stony mounds nearby are identical to many others over this area of moorland and are almost certainly clearance heaps.
Surveyed at 1:10 000.
