At NR 5260 6765, on a gentle east-facing slope, are the possible remains of a hut circle. It is a level area, 7.0m in diameter, set slightly into the slope and fringed with overgrown rubble probably of a denuded wall, but no faces are evident. An old field dyke abuts on the north side.

The hut is surrounded by lazy-beds and rig-and-furrow; there are heathery, stony mounds, some associated with the recent cultivation, but others, in open ground, are possibly the remains of a field system contemporary with the possible hut.

Surveyed at 1/2500.

Visited by OS (J M) 4 May 1978.
