(Location cited as NO 7133 7210: nominated as Site of Regional Significance). Air photography (CUCAP VZ 74, flown 31 July 1957 and AAS/78/02/S2/21, flown 28 July 1978) has recorded the cropmarks of a square enclosure and a possible arc of ditch on a gentle slope at an altitude of 65m OD.

NO 714 720 In May 2000 an area of rig and furrow was excavated and recorded in advance of a proposed housing development. Excavation of trenches revealed the remains of medieval rig and furrow cultivation initially identified from aerial photographs. Furrows that had been cut into the natural till were recorded and sampled. No further investigation of the area of rig and furrow on the development site will be required.
