NO55SW 11 5053 5154.

Five cup-marked stones, found by Mr Powrie in the immediate neighbourhood, are preserved at Reswallie House.

Stone 'A' measures 3ft 6ins by 2ft by 7ins and bears 11 cups varying from 2 to 3ins in diameter. Four of the cups are surrounded by a single ring, and one by a double ring.

Stone 'B' measures 3ft 6ins by 2ft and 6 to 10ins thick, bearing 11 cups, two surrounded by a single ring and one by a double.

Stone 'C' measures 3ft 1in by 1ft 9ins by 6ins. It bears 10 cups, two of which have single rings.

Stone 'D' measures 4ft by 2ft 4ins by 1ft. On it are 15 cups, one which has a single ring round it. Stone 'E' measures 1ft 8ins by 1ft 8ins by 3ins. On one side are 16 cups from 1 to 2ins in diameter, two of which have single rings.

NO 5053 5154. These cup-and-ring marked stones (together with two quern stones) are preserved in an overgrown part of Reswallie policies. They have been utilized as a form of rockery garden.
