See also NO44NW 4.

The earliest church of Kinnettles parish is said to have stood on Kirkhill on 'a conically shaped rising ground' on the south bank of the Kerbet, opposite Brigton (Guthrie 1875) (NO 419 469). The name 'Kirkhill' is published at NO 4261 4608 applied to a ruin, but the location does not appear to fit the above description.

(See NO44NW 4 for site of later parish churches.)

A Jervise 1861; J C Guthrie 1875; A J Warden 1880-5.
