OS 1:10,000 map, (1972)

A cairn of loose stones, 30' in diameter and 2' high with a central cist, lying NNE-SSW, and measuring 3'6" x 2' x 1' deep. The cist is formed of stone slabs set on edge on the N, E, and W sides, but the S slab and the capstone have been remvoed.

Visited by OS (DA) 19 October 1955; Information from F A Ferguson to OS, January 1954.

This cairn, 10.0m in diameter, is as described above.

Visited by OS (JLD) 30 July 1958.

The cairn has been mutilated by quarrying in the SE segment and the cist apparently removed.

Surveyed at 1/10,000.
