The conical dovecot at Auchterhouse still remains;it is mentioned c. 1682.

A Jervise 1861.

This dovecot is rectangular, measuring 8.0m x 4.5m. It is well-preserved, and is roofed with the single-sloping pitch which is typical of Scottish 17th - 18th century dovecots.
