St Madan's, Madden's (ONB 1863) or Medan's (Scott et al 1915-61) Well was filled in about 1863.

Name Book 1863; H Scott et al 1915-61; Information from Mr Flemming, Cantsmill to OS.

There is no trace of a well and the farmer (Mr Tindall, Cantsmill, Kirriemuir) has no knowledge of one.
