St Mary's Well at Inverey has a legendary association with the 7th century St Nathalan. (A Gibb 1884)

A photograph by Blundell (F O Blundell 1909) shows it to be a recess in a bank, formed of stone slabs with the back slab inscribed with a cross and the words "Tobar Mhoire" with a pipe discharging onto a stone slab below.

A Gibb 1884; F O Blundell 1909.

"Tobar n Mhoire," at NO 0845 8919, as illustrated by Blundell. No local knowledge of any "holy" properties.

Surveyed at 1/2500.

Visited by OS (R L) 17 October 1967.
