NN86SW 14 8230 6063.

NN 823 606. A cairnfield, consisting of a considerable number of cairns 2m to 4m in diameter, lies on the crest of a scarp below NN86SW 7.

At least a dozen early stone clearance heaps in moorland within an area up to 150 metres SW of a group of BA cairns (NN86SW 7). Other larger heaps further to the SW in an area of modern cultivation are comparatively recent.

Visited by OS (A A) 4 November 1974.

A scatter of small cairns, stretches of field bank and traces of rig cultivation survive in rough grassland to the S of cairns NN86SW 7. The rigs measure up to about 7m in breadth.
