NN85SE 34 8729 5114.

At NN 8729 5114 is a robbed chambered cairn measuring 18.0m in diameter and 1.2m maximum height. Protruding through the debris are five slabs on edge, three in the E possibly part of a facade; one just to the W of them possibly a portal stone, and another still further to the SW, part of a chamber of uncertain plan.

An even more pillaged cairn measuring 17.0m NNW-SSE by 15.0m lies immediately on the W. A large slab on edge protrudes through the debris in the W quadrant, and another in the SSE. Two smaller earthfast stones occur immediately W of the latter. It is possible that these stones are the last remnants of a chamber of uncertain type.

A ruinous late field wall, part of a complex in the area, overlies both cairns, and in the immediate vicinity and extending for about 100 metres to the NW are a few scattered early stone clearance heaps.

Surveyed at 1:2500.
