NN85SE 10 8951 5314.

(NN 8951 5314) An earthen tumulus (information from M E C Stewart, 14 December 1964) known locally as "The Dun" stands on the hillside above Cloichfoldich c.150 yds N of the mansion house of that name. It is a circular mound 65 yds in circumference, in perfect condition, standing 10' - 12' above an artificial terrace 6' - 8' wide.

A cup marked stone (5'2" x 3'4" x 1'8") bearing at least 70 cups lies on the SE side of "The Dun".

NN 8949 5316. A well-preserved barrow measuring 17.0m in diameter and 3.5m high, in a very prominent position overlooking the Tay valley. The cup marked stone is as described and is partially covered by earth, lying on the E side of the tumulus. The name could not be confirmed locally.
