Slight remains of castle of unusual plan, consisting of a long narrow rectangle with round tower at NE and possibly SW.

SDD List 1963

This elongated Z-plan tower-house is sometimes referred to locally as Dalveich Castle. The remains measure c.27.5m NE-SW by c.8.5m transversely, over walls c.1.0m wide. Most of the SW gable survives to a height of 1.5m but elsewhere only parts of the outer wall can be seen, up to 0.4m high. No further information.
