NN42NE 4 4827 2841.
(Area centred: NN 482 284) A group of five large stones is visible in front of Inishewan farmhouse, Glendochart, between the house and the river terrace. The first stone is 19 yards south of the front door of the house. They form the arc of a circle with one stone incorporated in a dyke wall.
The arrangement and characteristics of the stones suggest they are the remains of a stone circle.
W A Gillies 1938
There are four large stones situated in the garden of the farmhouse. They do not form a regular arc and only one is erect. There is a little doubt that this is a natural formation of glacier deposited stones, of which there are many others in the area.
