OS 1:10,000 map, (1975)

Situated in rough ground between the public road and close to the River Lonan and about 35 metres west of the standing stone (NM92NW 1), is a cairn, appearing as an oval stony mound measuring 19.1 by 17.2 metres and as much as 2.6 metres in height.

RCAHMS 1975, visited May 1972.

Generally as described.

Surveyed at 1:10 000 scale.

Visited by OS (R D) 8 October 1969.

Noted that on OS 1:10,000 map, (1975), the measured distance from cairn to the standing stone referred to is about 50 metres.
