NM92NW 22 9210 2856.

In a field on the opposite side of the river to Clanamacrie (Glenamachrie on OS 1:10,000 map, 1975) Farm is an undisturbed burial cairn named Cnoc an t-Sagairt ('the knoll of the priest'). It is larger than the nearby mound (NM92NW 18).

W Thomson 1925.

A lozenge-shaped mound at NM 9210 2856 is clearly that referred to by Thomson. It is oriented E-W and measures 34 by 25 metres and is 3.5 metres high. It has a flat top 2.7 metres in diameter. In view of its shape, it may be a glacial deposit.

The RCAHMS consider this mound to be a natural knoll.

Visited by OS (J P) 2 December 1969.
