(NM 8607 4344) Cross (NR) (rems of)

OS 1:10,000 map, (1976)

About 11 metres from the SE corner of the churchyard there is a cross-base which may be in its original position as the longer sides face east and west. It is 0.77 metres long by 0.59 metres wide and the slot for the cross is 0.34 metres long by 0.08 metres wide.

There are no visible remains of the chapel which is said to have stood immediately to the west of the burial ground, close to the office-houses of the manse.

RCAHMS 1975, visited June 1970.

As described.

Surveyed at 1:2500.

Visited by OS (DWR) 9 November 1971.
