NM83NW 15 centred 812 386.
Area NM 812386. A Late Bronze Age socketed axe of the 'bag' type was found in 1952 at the base of 6 to 9 ins of peat, 300 to 400 yards SW of the summit of Barr Mor, Lismore, by Rev J D M Stuart, of 38 Withdean Court, Brighton, who presented it to the National Museum of Antiquities of Scotland (NMAS DE 123).

(Kalemouth variant of Portree type). Single find, found in 1952 at the base of 6-9 inches of peat. Socketed axe, brittle brown-green surface, untrimmed, notched cutting edge, no haft ribs; length 80mm, mouth 33x32mm, cutting edge 55mm, weight 215 gms. NMAS DE 123.
