NJ83NE 36 8825 3616.

Formerly NJ83NE 36

At NJ 8825 3616 is a circular stone-walled hut measuring 7.5m in diameter between the centres of a ruinous wall about 1.0m thick. The entrance is not evident. There is no trace of contemporary cultivation. Some 42.0m to the SE on a slope is the SW half of what may have ben a circular enclosure, now bisected by a wall and destroyed in the E. It measures about 10.0m NW-SE between the centres of a bank spread to 2.0m but it is not level and cannot be classified as a hut circle.

Hut surveyed at 1/2500.

Visited by OS (ISS) 26 February 1973.
