There is a stone circle on Bankhead Farm some distance north of 'St Brandan's Stones' (NJ66SW 1) but on the same rising ground.
New Statistical Account (NSA) 1845.
Inquiries at Bankhead farm failed to reveal any information regarding this stone circle.
Visited by OS (WDJ) 27 September 1961.
