St Peter's Church was demolished in 1794, the only remains being an aisle dating from about 1612. The church is first mentioned in 1224-6.

W Cramond 1885; Name Book 1867.

The only remnant of the church is a much restored structure, possibly once an aisle. It contains a memorial stone to the Hay family.

Visited by OS (EGC) 15 March 1962.
