OS 6" map, (1959)

About 450 yards west of Foulford Bridge are two tumuli. In the more easterly of the two, a short cist was found, the flats that composd it still being there. It contained an urn and bones. The westerly hillock has never been explored.

W Cramond 1895.

Two heather covered mounds 9.0m in diameter by 2.0m in height. No evidence of any excavation or trace of the slabs mentioned by Cramond (28 March 1895) could be found, and the whereabouts of the urn and bones is not known.

Visited by OS (RD) 5 August 1964.

No change.
