Two stone cists, each 3 feet long and about 2 feet deep and wide, containing bits of human bone, ashes and black mould, found by the farmer of Deskry whilst reclaiming new land.

Name Book 1868.

The site of these cists lies at the edge of a cultivated field on the crest of Deskry Hill, a prominent ridge between the River Don to the N and the Deskry Water to the S.
