A popular and well-known name applied to a spring well, which is very copious and said to be excellent water for household purposes.

Name Book 1871.

St Laurence's Well is situated behind Glen Rothes Distillery (NJ 271 491)

H B Mackintosh 1924.

Minister's Well is now modernised. There is no local knowledge of the name St Laurence's Well.
