At NJ 0085 2680 on the E facing slopes of Laggan Hill is a cairn of bare stones measuring about 13.0m in diameter and about 1.0m high. Exposed in the centre of the cairn is a cist oriented NNW to SSE and measuring internally 1.6m long by 0.8m wide by 0.6m deep.
The end slabs are 1.0m high (Information from G A Dixon, 13 Thirlestane Road, Edinburgh)

This cairn, which is situated on a narrow terrace on the E flank of Laggan Hill, lies within an area of semi-improved pasture and on the date of visit part of the cairn was obscured by dense bracken. The cairn comprises a mound of stones and boulders measuring 11m in diameter by up to 1.3m in height; a cist at the centre measures 1.2m from NNW to SSE by 1m transversely within end-slabs up to 1m in height and side-slabs 0.6m high.
