(NJ 0259 2606) A fort is said to have been where Inverallan House now stands.

H B Mackintosh 1924.

No trace and no local knowledge of this fort. Inverallan House is situated in a position eminently suited for a fort.

Visited by OS (N K B) 2 September 1966.

Not visited at the time of survey.
