(NH 7893 9867) Stones and earth-fast boulders, some probably from old buildings, are found here. The farmer thinks it possible that either the symbol stone (NC80SE 2) or the Ogam stone (NC80SW 13) may have come from this site (Information contained in letter and map from Dr J Close-Brooks, to OS 20 October 1975).

RAF air photographs (CPE/Scot/UK 297: 3084-5; flown 18 September 1947) show enclosures and possible footings of a rectangular building, lying ENE-WSW at NH 7902 9863.

No extant remains occur at either location, which were under hay at the time of the visit. No further information was obtained concerning the stones.

(See also NH79NE 5).

Visited by OS (J B) 27 May 1981.
