NH69NE 5 6933 9930.

At NH 6933 9930, high up in a S-facing hillside, is a hut circle with an accompanying minor field system.

The hut, levelled-up and set back into a sheltered shelf, measures 14.0m NW-SE by 13.0m transversely across over a heather-covered wall, best preserved in the SW as a rubble spread 0.5m high and 2.0m broad; an ill-defined entrance is in the SE. Boulder-slab revetting is clearly visible in the SW exterior of the hut stance.

The minor field system comprises a scatter of stone clearance heaps and tenuous signs of occasional lynchets. There are no measureable plots. Surveyed at 1:10,000.

Visited by OS (J M) 27 August 1980.
