According to Blain, there was formerly a chapel on Kilwhinleck farm (NS 058 623). Traditionally, it stood beside the original farm steading. Nothing of it now remains, not even the font which lay there neglected till within living memory.

J K Hewison 1893; J Blain 1880

Nothing now remains of this chapel.

Visited by OS (TRG) 2 November 1976

Kilwhinleck is a working farmsteading. On the date of visit its buildings were not noted and no evidence was found for the chapel mention by previous authorities.

Visited by RCAHMS (GFG, AGCH) 4 June 2009.
