(NH 5117 4175) Uaigh Gillechunne. Stone Coffin containing two urns found AD 1763. (NAT)

OS 6"map, Inverness-shire, 2nd ed., (1906)

Uamh Gillichuinne is a stone coffin only the sides of which now remain. Two urns filled with ashes were found in it in 1763. Tradition does not say who Gillichuinne was.

Statistical Account (OSA) 1794

Uaigh Gillechunne: The remaining stones of the coffin were removed for use in the building of the older part of the present manse.

No trace exists. No further information.
