At NH 5516 9986, on a gentle south-facing moorland slope, is a solitary hut circle measuring 7.5m in diameter within a wall, 0.4m high and spread to 2.0m wide, now obscured by peat and heather. The entrance gap of simple form occurs in the SSW arc; a large boulder flanks its east side.

To the north of the hut are about six scattered clearance heaps; no measurable cultiavtion plots are discernible.

Surveyed at 1:10 000.

Visited by OS (N K B), 6 January 1977.
